Our Vision:
Evangelize the Lost, Disciple the Believers and Multiply through Church Planting. Our hopes are to plant churches in every city, state, and nation for the purpose of winning the lost to Christ, and to grow each believer in the fullness of Christ.

Win, because we realize that our community is lost and in need of a Savior. Our purpose is to win as many people to the Lord as possible. Though our methods may change, we never comprise our beliefs.
Build, because we realize that is our responsibility to build committed disciples. Our goal is to develop people into transformed Spirit-driven Disciples of Christ, preparing them for significant living and fulfilling ministry in both the church and the world.
Send, because we realize that we must go beyond our community and reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Therefore we are committed to training, equipping, and developing men and woman that will go out and start new churches in other communities.
Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship
was founded by
Pastor Mike & Donna Neville
in Maywood California in 1976
Praise Chapel is a Family of Fellowships of Churches and Ministries International. Linked together through relationships that have come out through Local Churches with a vision to Evangelize the lost, Disciple the Believer and Multiply through Church Planting. Win-Build-Send clearly states our purpose.
In May of 1975, Pastor Michael Neville and his family came to South East Los Angeles to assume the pastorate of a small church. At first the transition was rough for the existing, "well-established" congregation and this "bold" new pastor and his young family. The neighborhood had changed from a middle-class "white" area to a predominately Latino community. It was Pastor Mike's conviction that the church should "reflect" its neighborhood. This caused an immediate ?exodus' of members who were not comfortable with change. However, God graciously rewarded Pastor Neville's vision with souls! The church was soon filled with people of different nationalities. The church had truly become a reflection of the multi-cultural face of Los Angeles. Many young gang members gave their lives to Christ and a sovereign wave of revival swept through the community.
Pastor Neville began to "disciple" these young converts and soon began to see the church stretching out beyond the four walls of the local church. God began to deal with him about planting pioneer churches and in 1980 the first "baby church" was planted in Ontario, California. Since that time, over 200 churches have been planted across the United States and worldwide.
The little church in Maywood, California had birthed a fellowship of churches and ministries. Thousands of lives have been greatly influenced by Pastor Neville's leadership. He was known for his jovial and warm personality and his great love and faith in people. He never met a stranger! He often embraced those who had never experienced genuine acceptance and convinced them that they could do anything. Those great qualities gave those around him the confidence to "go for it".
In January of 1996, at 49 years of age, the Lord called Pastor Mike home after 30 years of ministry and almost 20 years in Praise Chapel. He leaves behind him a great legacy. His vision will continue to motivate this church until we are called home!
Today Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships has multiplied into many areas of the United States and the world. With over 175 churches in the United States and hundreds more in over 13 nations. Praise Chapel has become a "Family of Fellowships." What started with one church, became a Fellowship of churches and now has multiplied into a "Family of Fellowships" all over the world.
Every two years Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships join together for a World Bible Conference. Along with the World Conference, the various Fellowships have yearly Harvesters Conference where they bring home Pastors and Missionaries, and new churches and ministries are birthed.
Sunday Morning Service
Join us every Sunday morning as we gather together in worship and praise. Pastor Omar Lopez will challenge you through life changing messages. His presentation of the Bible will inspire you, and give you practical insight on how to live for God.
Mid-Week Service
Every Wednesday at 7:30pm Pastor David Hernandez preaches in ways that will challenge and inspire you to live a life of greatness for God. He will offer you methods to live in practical God-like lives.
Spanish Ministry
Our Spanish ministry is headed by Pastor John & List Valadez. Sunday services start at 11:00 am, and our Mid-Week service is held on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Located at 8043 Madison St, Paramount, CA 90723
Fresh Fire Youth Service
Are you tired of the status quo? Are you living an average boring life? Come to our Youth Service and see your life transformed to a fun, exciting life, filled with purpose and meaning. The services are filled with exciting dramas, videos, music and there is always a powerful message that will help you connect with God.
Angel & Desiree head up Fresh Fire and would love to meet with you. They meet every Friday night from 6pm - 9pm, and they also have Sunday Bible Studies at 9am.
Children's Church
Your children will love our children's church service every Sunday during our morning services. They will enjoy the studies and lessons we provide them and will love participating in the various object lessons and studies. We offer a fun filled atmosphere where your children will enjoy themselves while they learn about Jesus. It is important that your children begin to learn about Christ at an early age and we have dedicated teachers who care about your children's spiritual wellness and give their best for your kids. We provide nursery care (up to 2 years), toddlers 3-4, and Children's Church for ages up to 11 years old in all of our services.
Men and Women's Discipleship
Men are encouraged to be a part of our Men's Discipleship as we gather together the second Monday of each month. It is a great time for men to be challenged and encouraged to live godly lives.
Women will enjoy our Women's Discipleship as women take the time to seek God and hear a message from God that will touch, strengthen and encourage women.
Sheepfold Home Bible Studies
Our Home Bible Studies are held every Friday night at 7:30 pm. They consists of 8-12 people and gather together in various cities to study the Bible. It is a great place to meet new people and build lasting friendships.
Membership Training
If you want a better grasp and understanding of the basic foundations of salvation and what we believe then join our Membership Training classes are scheduled through out the year. Our Membership Training provides basic foundational teaching of scripture covering many basic truths of Christianity. We require all who wish to be in ministry to attend these courses. We hope you choose to attend.
Prayer Meetings
Saturday mornings we gather together for prayer at 7:30 am. You are welcome to come as we take this time to get a hold of God and pray for our church.
Prior to every scheduled service we encourage everyone to take time to seek God in our prayer room. We encourage you to make this a priority.
